INTERNATIONAL PUBLICATIONS.
Kara Walker is

Ms. Walker born in California in 1969 received her MFA from the Rhode Island
School of Design. She has received the MacArthur Foundation Achievement Award. Her work is found at the Museum of Modern Art,
San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim and Whitney. Her genteel Victorian silhouttes graphically portray scenes
of the antebellum South. The images are 'unleashed' onto the walls of museums and galleries. ' After the Deluge' inspired
by the tragedy that beset the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina, Walker has created a volume exploring the interconnnectedness
